AS AN ASSISTANT THE INSTRUCTOR YOU CAN ACT AS AN ASSIST DIVE AND TAKE ON LIMITED TEACHING OBLIGATIONS. THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO GET EXPERIENCE AND BECOME A DIVING INSTRUCTOR! YOU BECOME A MENTOR, AT THE SAME TIME GAINING EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING STUDENTS.
The Assistant Instructor Course is the first part of the PADI IDC Instructor Course and when it takes place before the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course you have greater performance and more confident success in the Instructor Examination (IE) which will lead you to OWSI level certification.
Minimum age: 18 years.
Be a PADI Dive Master Certified Diver or have an equivalent certification from another organization.
Have been trained in First Aid and Resuscitation in the past two years.
Have 60 logged dives to start the course and 100 dives to complete.
Conducting diving knowledge lectures under the indirect supervision of a PADI Instructor.
Conducting diving skills training in pool-like waters under the direct supervision of a PADI instructor.
Teach and certify the PADI Excellent Buoyancy course under the supervision of a PADI Instructor.
Conducting the Project AWARE, AWARE Raf Protection specialization course.
Conducting the PADI Discover Scuba Diving and PADI Seal Team course.
Possibility to do a PADI instructor course Underwater photography.
